About The Button Foundation
About us
Founded in 2008, The Button Foundation has been dedicated to helping students achieve their goals for over 15 years. We have a proven track record of success and are committed to continuing to provide high-quality education to homeschool students with educational barriers for years to come.
Our Faculty
Our faculty consists of experienced educators and professionals who are passionate about their fields and committed to providing the best possible education to our students. We carefully select our faculty members based on their expertise, teaching experience, and dedication to their craft. Our faculty members are not only experts in their fields but also caring mentors who provide personalized guidance to our students.
Our tutors are registered as Impaq Assessors for the following subjects: Afrikaans and English, Visual arts, Consumer Studies, Hospitality Studies.
Our tutors are qualified amanuensis (readers and scribes) as well as trained invigilators.
Our Partnerships
We have established partnerships with leading educational institutions such as impaq, Think Digital and SACAI. These partnerships allow us to offer our students unique opportunities to progress at their own pace with one on one assistance and mentorship at our tutor centre. We are proud to be part of a network of educators and learners of parents that homeschool who share our commitment to quality education.
Collaboration with private practitioners
Rita McFadden, Educational Psychologist in private practice, have extensive experience in all aspects of educational psychology.
Focusing on learning difficulties, career guidance and subject choices, emotional therapy as well as study skills.
Assessments for learners with the need to apply for exam accommodations, concessions or access arrangements are conducted by educational psychologist Rita Mc Fadden.
